About overlap sheds

Almost all our overlap sheds on the site are the Forest 4Life brand. Overlap cladding consists of wooden boards, which are placed horizontally over each other on the exterior. Each board partially covers the board below it. The overall effect is a sloped surface that helps drain water away effectively and helps with weather resistance and ventilation.

Our Forest 4Life overlap sheds feature all the main attributes you would expect from overlap cladding. These attributes include affordability, customisability, ease of installation, flexible sizing, natural ventilation, traditional aesthetic appeal and weather resistance.

Size options

We have a wide range of size options for Forest 4Life sheds including all the most popular sizes. These range in size from the 4'x3' Forest 4Life Overlap Apex Wooden Shed, right up to the 20'x10' Forest 4Life Overlap Double Door Reverse Apex Wooden Shed with 8 Windows.

Roofing styles

For this range, the roof consists of green mineral felt. Three roofing styles are available including apex, reverse apex and pent. Check individual models for details.

Treatment and guarantee

Almost all of the Forest 4Life range are pressure treated. The pressure treated sheds have a market-leading 25 year anti-rot guarantee and will never need retreating.

Door types

Their sheds are a market-leading choice of door placements. The modular design helps with many choices of door configuration with both double doors and single door models being available.

Window options

Again, due to the modular design and the variety of sizes, there are many window options. For security, many buyers like a windowless shed. If you like windows, choose anywhere from one to eight windows.

With lean to

If you like the thought of some extra storage on the side of the shed, buying with a “lean to” is a great option. These lean to models are designed with 2 slatted sides, and exactly match the style of the rest of the shed. This additional storage area is frequently used as a log store but could also be used for storing other garden tools, and equipment.

Optional extras

1)    Shed base

Flooring is supplied as standard; this is top-quality flooring and is around 40% thicker than regular shed flooring. Within the prices stated there is no base. There is an option though to buy either a plastic shed base or a wooden shed base as an extra.

2)    Professional installation

Sit back and relax as your Forest 4Life shed is professionally installed by skilled tradespeople. If you are busy or not confident about DIY this is an option well worth considering. Installation services are available for the entire range and consist of:

1. Installing just the shed
2. Installing both the shed and a base

3)    Solar lighting

“Let be there be light” when you upgrade your shed purchase with one of our solar lighting kits from Solartech. These illuminate your shed for free, without having to run a cable from the main house.
