Lighting a garden building that doesn’t have power can seem like a tricky prospect. The Forest Shed Solar Light with Motion Sensors is a smart and eco-friendly way to overcome this as it’s powered by solar energy and can be installed without the need for costly rewiring or the help of an electrician.
The solar panel is made from polycrystalline silicon and has an IP65 waterproof rating so it’s suitable to use outside. It also includes a lithium battery, which will store your eco-friendly energy and leave it ready to use whenever you need it.
Adjustable Arms and Multiple Modes
This pendant light’s rotatable body and five adjustable arms – which can be angled independently – mean that you can control exactly where the light goes. And at 1,200 lumens, that light is powerful enough to illuminate every corner of your garden building or the surrounding areas outside.
The LED solar light comes with a range of day, night and auto options including dim light sensor mode, motion sensor mode and constantly on mode. You can switch between these at the click of a button with the infrared remote control. The remote control also enables you to adjust the brightness of the light, turn it on and off, and select a timer setting of two, four or six hours.
Package Contents & Installation Process
The Forest Shed Solar Light with Motion Sensors package contains: 1 x solar light, 1 x solar panel, 1 x remote control, 4 x expansion pillar hinges, 4 x screws, 2 x AAA batteries, 2 x cable ties and 1 x user manual.
To install the solar light, simply choose a suitable location and make use of the included fixtures and fittings. The 5m cable connecting the solar panel to the pendant light gives you all the flexibility you need to be able to position the panel in the optimum place.
Please note: The solar panel needs to be charged in the sun for 6–8 hours before you install and use the light. For maximum effectiveness, we recommend positioning the panel in direct sunlight, facing the south. Installation of the Forest Shed Solar Light with Motion Sensors is not included as part of our Forest Pro-Installation Service for sheds.
