Dip treatment and guarantee period

Mercia sheds and other garden buildings such as summer houses, and garden storage are supplied dip treated. This means they will need annual retreatment with a top-quality wood preservative. Therefore, we will not state this again below, as dip treatment applies to the entire range.

All the ranges described below are guaranteed for an impressive ten years. This is conditional upon the annual dip treatment above being applied.

Mercia sheds

There is a fine range of Mercia sheds available to choose from, they are all wooden, apart from the 7’x7’ Mercia Premium Composite Pent Shed. This Mercia plastic shed is made from composite flooring & cladding with a PVC roof. This shed has a wood effect, so you would be receiving the benefits of a plastic shed, but with the aesthetic appeal of wood.

Features available

Mercia wooden sheds are at the heart of the range though, with notable features including:

• Cladding – the entire range features shiplap tongue and groove cladding, apart from the 7’x3’ Mercia Bike Store (which has overlap cladding)
• Door types – most of the range have double doors, but a few single doors are also available
• FSC-certified – all wood used is from FSC-certified sources
• Popular sizes – some of the most popular Mercia wooden shed sizes available include 8'x6', 10'x6', and 10'x8'
• Roofing styles – most roofs are apex, or reverse apex, with a few curved and pent roofs also available
• Size range – Mercia wooden sheds have a broad size range, from a compact 7’x3’ up to 20’x’10’. In general, the range focuses primarily on medium to large sheds

Garden workshops

If you are looking to buy a garden workshop, a selection of the sheds is perfectly suited for a range of workshop uses. Ranging from a 10’x10’ corner model, they are available up to 20’x10’, so are all large workshops.

Mercia summer houses

If you are looking to buy summer houses, the good news is we have a great range of Mercia summer houses to choose from. The majority feature shiplap tongue and groove cladding, with a few in the selection being tongue and groove cladding. Choose from double doors or bifold doors.

A wide variety of options are available from the small Mercia 7’x5’ Shiplap Summer house up to a medium-sized Mercia 13’x9’ Premium Corner Summer House with Side Shed. It is well worth mentioning that like this latter model, a good number of the collection feature a side shed, which is perfect for storing tools, lawnmowers, and other garden equipment, etc.

Many of the Mercia summer houses are corner models and feature sizes such as 8’x8’ and 9’x’9’, which perfectly fit a neat garden corner.

Mercia log cabins

Mercia greenhouses

Grow flowers, fruit, herbs, and vegetables all year round with the Mercia greenhouses collection. With sizes from 6’x6’ up to 12’x6’, there is a greenhouse suitable for various garden sizes. Several lean to Mercia greenhouses are available, such as the Mercia 8’x4’ traditional wooden lean to greenhouse, these enable you to lean the greenhouse against a wall, fence or side of a house to save space and cost as the greenhouse has no backing. Many of the listed greenhouses are greenhouse combi sheds, so feature a greenhouse with side storage, an example is the Mercia 8’x6’ Shiplap Wooden Apex Greenhouse Combi Shed.
