Timberdale sheds – a Forest Garden brand

“Timberdale” is the brand name given to Forest Garden’s excellent range of tongue and groove wooden sheds. Rather than call their entire range Forest Garden, they have created three distinct brands:

1. Timberdale sheds – for sheds with tongue and groove cladding
2. Forest 4Life sheds – sheds with overlap cladding
3. Beckwood sheds – sheds with shiplap tongue and groove cladding

What is meant by tongue and groove cladding?

The term "tongue and groove" is derived from the two parts, that make up the name:

1. Tongue - a tongue on the side of the material
2. Groove - a corresponding groove on the other side

During manufacture the “tongue” is inserted into the “groove”, creating a smooth and tight join. Tongue and groove cladding improves durability, provides improved weather protection, and reduces moisture penetration. Aesthetically pleasing, T&G cladding (as it is also sometimes known) is valued for its strength and long-lasting nature, which is why it is a popular option for shed cladding.

• Treatment – all Timberdale sheds are pressure treated. This means “install and forget”, the wood will NEVER need to be retreated, which saves you time and money each year
• Windows – choose sheds with configurable window options or without windows

These have all the essential qualities you would expect from a garden workshop including durability, resistance to UK weather, spaciousness and versatility.

These workshops can be used for many purposes including art studios, crafting activities, exercise room, garden office, hobby room, repair workshop, storage, woodworking, etc.

We have mentioned that garden workshops need to be spacious, so this range is between 8’x6’ and 12’x8’ in size. Various roofing styles are available including apex, pent and reverse apex.
