Supplied with an impressive 10-year guarantee, this wooden dog kennel is made in Great Britain from 12mm tongue and groove cladding, on a sturdy 33 x 33mm frame. Rounded off with a sumptuous smooth-planed finish, it offers your dogs an attractive, robust, weathertight home, which will serve them well for many years to come.

The wood used to build this dog house is FSC® certified, which is the world's most trusted mark for sustainable forestry. Pressure treated and backed by a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, no further treatment is required, saving you money and leaving you more time to walk your dogs.

Hardwearing Floor and Roof

Exceptionally hardwearing and easy to clean, the floor is made from 12mm plywood. It is elevated off the ground to provide an effective barrier against rot-causing ground moisture and keep the interior dry.

The roof features a contemporary pent design for effective rainwater runoff. It is made from the same resilient material as the floor, and fitted with a premium mineral felt cover to ensure this dog kennel enjoys complete weatherproof protection.

Dog Kennel and Run

You can access the 4ft x 4'2 dog house and 6ft run independently of each other, via their own front doors. Each door is fitted with a metal pad bolt, so rest assured that your dogs will remain safely inside and unwanted visitors will be kept out (padlocks not supplied).

Thanks to the 2-tiered design of this dog kennel, each of your dogs will have their own private space to enjoy. Both tiers are fitted with sliding doors, which open out onto the run, so you can exercise your dogs at separate times. Constructed from 50mm square wire mesh, with a wooden frame, the run offers a generous 6x4 space for your dogs to enjoy.

Pressure Treatment Process Explained

The Pressure Treatment process for timber has been applied to products for a number of years; the key benefit of this process is that the preservative is forced under vacuum pressure right deep into the heart of the wood and the grain structure. The preservative becomes an integral part of the wood; giving a long life and protection against rot.

 

This process also means that you never have to apply preservatives to your dog kennel, and it allows the natural colours of the timber to show through and so your dog kennel blends easily within your garden.

VACUUM

Timber is loaded into chamber and a vacuum empties timber cells of air.

FLOODED

Cylinder is flooded under vacuum with preservative.

PRESSURE

Preservative is forced deep into timber using hydraulic pressure.

VACUUM

Another vacuum extracts excess preservative.

 

DRY

Timber draws in surface excess of preservative under low pressure, then is left to dry.

All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.

To check you qualify for Choose Your Delivery Day, please use the postcode checker above or within checkout to check delivery is available to your area. If a delivery day is not specified, we will contact you to arrange one.

 

Choose Your Delivery Day is NOT available for CO, CT, EX, IP, ME, NR, PL, TN, TQ, TR and Scottish postcodes. Here, delivery is 2-3 Weeks from the order date.

Two days before delivery, you will receive a 4-hour time slot via text message. You are able to respond to this text and we welcome any helpful delivery instructions to ensure a successful delivery. Then, on the morning of delivery, you will receive a 2-hour ETA via email. This includes a link to track your driver’s progress.

 

Upon arrival, the friendly driver will deliver your order to a place of your choice - as long as it is a reasonable request and it is safe to do so - within your garden. Please ensure they have unrestricted access, which does not involve passing through your home or garage. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product to an un-safe location. All product packaging will be removed and taken away with the driver!
