Garden Workshops
Garden Workshops are larger sheds that offer the necessary space to complete DIY, offer the ability to work with larger equipment or pursue your special hobby in a dedicated area. They are also ideal as large storage areas. As well as traditional wooden workshops, we also offer plastic and metal options to suit your preference. Our range of workshops features a variety of sizes and styles to suit every garden and requirement. Some have divided space providing both a workshop and a practical storage area - offering you the best of both worlds. Free UK delivery, taking from just 3 days, on garden workshops.*
Should the roof felt be applied once the garden workshop is fully built?
You add your workshop roof felt only when the garden workshop is fully built. Adding roof felt prematurely can lead to several issues, including alignment problems, damage to the roof and workshop structure during construction, and structural instability, which means that without the workshop frame to support the roofing felt, it might not be securely attached. The problem with premature installation is that the heavy roof can affect the overall construction process, and no one wants delays or wasted materials costs.
Can garden workshops be painted?
Most certainly, our garden workshops can be painted; in some circumstances, they are crying out for a splash of colour. Our garden workshops are generally pressure or dip treated to preserve the timber against decay, rot, and pest infestation. Sometimes though, it is not about the protective elements; it is about adding to your garden aesthetic and promoting joy in a building in which you may well spend all day. Adding aesthetic appeal and weather protection sounds like a successful recipe for adding longevity to your garden workshop.
