Description

Forest is Britain's leading manufacturer of wooden sheds and Timberdale is their premier line. It should be your go-to range of sheds when only the best will do. Beautifully handcrafted in the heart of Worcestershire and supplied with a market-leading 25-year anti-rot guarantee, this 10x8 Timberdale Apex Shed with 4 Windows (3.06m x 2.52m) makes an excellent choice if you require premium-quality, general-purpose garden storage.

Intelligent Modular Design and Premium Build

Expertly built from superior 12mm tongue and groove cladding, on a strapping double 33mm frame (66 x 33mm), this garden shed simply oozes class. Its smart modular design means that it's delivered to you in smaller sections but you get more wood, so you'll find it far easier to assemble than other wooden sheds, and much stronger too. This modular design has the added benefit of allowing you to choose the door and window placements to suit your exact requirements.

Tongue and Groove Floor PLUS Roof

The floor is also built from premium 12mm tongue and groove, so is perfectly equipped to accommodate your heavier items and will easily cope with regular footfall. Pressure-treated bearers allow good air circulation underneath the shed, which prevents the wood getting damp, providing another layer of protection against rot and fungal decay in this key area.

The 12mm tongue and groove roof sports a traditional apex design. It is fitted with a superior 140g reinforced-polyester mineral felt cover for unbeatable weatherproof protection (roof felt colour may vary). The high roofline offers you ample headroom and increases your garden storage options, while 2 diamond-shaped finials add the finishing touches to the shed's incredibly attractive appearance.

Security-Enhanced Door and Opening Windows

You can gain easy access to this shed via a generously-sized, ledged and braced door. It includes exterior turn buttons, interior bolts and a key-operated lock, so rest assured that your valuable tools will remain completely safe from unwanted attention. This door can be hung with a left or right-hand opening ‐ the choice is yours.

Four opening windows ensure the interior benefits from an abundance of natural light and give you the opportunity to ventilate the shed - welcome news when you're depositing stored items and a great way to optimise garden storage conditions. These windows are made from 4mm toughened safety glass - perfect if you have family members who enjoy ball games!

Ethically-Sourced Wood and Completely Maintenance Free

This 10x8 shed is built using FSC®-certified wood, which is the world's most trusted mark for sustainable forestry. It is pressure treated to prevent rot and supplied with an extraordinary 25-year anti-rot guarantee, which is the longest on the market. Retreatment is never required, saving you money and leaving you more time to enjoy your garden.

Britain's Best Range of Wooden Sheds

The Forest Timberdale range of tongue and groove, pressure-treated sheds consists of a number of different sizes and styles. What they all have in common is a smart modular design and superior build, achieved by using the same attention to detail and top-quality materials throughout.

Forest's White Glove Delivery Service

Free delivery is available to most UK postcodes using Forest's White Glove Service. This means the shed is delivered straight into your garden, with all of the product packaging removed.

Fixings and instructions are both included to help you achieve a straightforward assembly. If you'd rather the professionals do the work for you, we offer a competitively-priced installation service as an optional upgrade.

Why Choose a Forest Tongue & Groove Timberdale Shed?

Supplied with a market-leading 25-year anti-rot guarantee as standard, Timberdale Sheds are robust, durable and packed full of premium features. Their tight, interlocking tongue & groove construction forms an unbeatable weatherproof seal and makes for an exceptionally attractive appearance.

Why you need a Forest Timberdale Tongue & Groove Shed?

With their tongue & groove build, substantial framing and high-end features, Forest’s Premium Timberdale Sheds offer you robust, practical and exceptionally stylish garden storage. Also, although there’s a slightly higher initial outlay when purchasing one of these sheds, the wood’s pressure-treated protection saves you both time and money in the long run, 25 Year Life Anti-Rot Guarantee means no time-consuming, costly retreatments are required.

1. Pressure Treated Fully Modular Design

Pressure treatment forces preservative deep inside the timber. The result is long-lasting protection against rot and fungal decay. With a market-leading 25-year anti-rot guarantee, there is no need to re-treat EVER, saving time and an estimated £200 in treatment costs compared to dip treated sheds. Interchangeable modular framed sections allow ease of assembly and flexibility of door and window positioning. Single doors can be hung to be left- or right-hand opening.

2. Traditional Finial & Barge Board

Attractive smooth planed finial & barge boards.

3. Doors with Double Z Framing

Far stronger and more secure than those found on other wooden sheds, Forest Timberdale Shed doors are reinforced with sturdy double-Z framing. This prevents them from warping, sagging or dropping.

4. Traditional Rim Lock Door Latch

Heavy-duty hinges, interior bolts and a rim lock add even greater security, keeping your valuable tools safe from unwanted attention.

5. Sturdy Floor

The robust and stable 12mm tongue and groove floor is elevated by pressure-treated joists for extra protection from ground moisture. Due to its thickness, a tongue and groove floor improves the shed’s level of insulation and will neither buckle under the weight of heavier items nor regular footfall.

6. Premium Safety Glass

Providing ventilation and light for a pleasant working and storage space, the opening windows are made from premium 4mm toughened safety glass and are secured with high-quality latches. To suit your garden, the windows can be placed on either side of the apex models. The windowless versions are designed for even greater security, as they deter unwanted attention.

7. 12mm Tongue & Groove Construction

Timberdale sheds are built from interlocking 12mm tongue & groove boards, which are robust, durable and supremely weathertight. Completely resistant to warping too, these sheds come with a 66mm x 33mm frame, which is 30% thicker than most wooden sheds. This extra framing ensures even greater strength and stability.

8. High Quality Roof with Superior Felt

The premium Timberdale shed range roofs are made from 12mm tongue and groove wood, fitted with a superior 140g reinforced-polyester mineral felt cover for complete weatherproof protection and a stylish finish. Don’t underestimate the importance of a top-quality roof as it’s your shed’s first line of defence against the elements.

Pressure Treatment Process Explained

The Pressure Treatment process for timber has been applied to products for a number of years; the key benefit of this process is that the preservative is forced under vacuum pressure right deep into the heart of the wood and the grain structure. The preservative becomes an integral part of the wood; giving a long life and protection against rot.

This process also means that you never have to apply preservatives to your garden shed, and it allows the natural colours of the timber to show through and so your shed blends easily within your garden. Surprisingly, our Pressure Treated Sheds are only slightly more expensive than Dip Treated Sheds.

VACUUM

Timber is loaded into chamber and a vacuum empties timber cells of air.

FLOODED

Cylinder is flooded under vacuum with preservative.

PRESSURE

Preservative is forced deep into timber using hydraulic pressure.

VACUUM

Another vacuum extracts excess preservative.

DRY

Timber draws in surface excess of preservative under low pressure, then is left to dry.

NO NEED TO RE-TREAT - SAVING YOU TIME AND MONEY!

From The Supplier: Forest Garden

"We're proud to be the largest and most trusted manufacturer and distributor of garden timber products in the UK" - Forest Garden

Making British Gardens Great

At Forest, we know a fair bit about fences. And sheds for that matter. In fact, we've been one of the UK's most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products for over 50 years.

With two sawmills in the UK processing locally-sourced timber, and a Head Office in Hartlebury, Worcestershire, you’ll find our range of garden buildings, fencing, decking and decorative structures for sale across many sites online and in over 3,000 retail stores. From the forest to the doorstep, we are involved every step of the way to ensure we bring you the best product and service.

Well made in Britain

The majority of the timber we use is grown and felled from managed UK forests across Scotland and Wales. After felling, the timber is cut and processed in one of our nearby sawmills and taken to our manufacturing operation in the heart of Britain. It is here our skilled workforce proudly produce the widest range of garden buildings, fencing and structures available in the UK.

All of the products that we sell are dispatched from this site. The final part of their journey is managed by our dedicated delivery department who are responsible for distribution direct to customers' homes by our fleet of vehicles.

Home Grown

We're proud to say that the majority of the timber we use is cut in our very own sawmill from trees grown in the UK.

Not only that, but our range is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and the majority of our products carry the FSC logo - so you know that our timber is ethically sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests that are replanted for future generations.
