    Avoid the hassle or mess of laying slabs or concrete with our ProBASE 10x6 plastic shed base kit, when preparing a base for your new shed. It is very quick to install as its interlocking design makes it easy to put together and, though lightweight, it will provide a very strong and durable base for your shed.

    Made from 100% recycled plastic, this shed base is eco-friendly. Also, you can reuse the base if you decide to reposition your shed. The base allows for ventilation and drainage under the shed, helping to keep the shed floor dry.

    To install the base, you simply interlock the square grids together and lay onto a firm, level area of ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10m pea gravel per square (gravel not included).

    Each square is 500 x 500 x 40mm. This pack contains 24 squares. For your convenience, a heavy-duty, commercially-graded membrane is also included.

The 10’3x6’5 (3.1x1.9m) Shire Blenheim is a light and airy summerhouse or home office for the garden.

Constructed from 12mm tongue and groove shiplap, the high grade Northern European pine is supported by a robust 44x44mm frame. The long-lasting floor is 12mm tongue and groove, well-known for its weather resistance, durability and strength. The 12mm reverse apex roof is tongue and groove finished in felt providing a weatherproof interior.

Featuring a fantastic 10 year anti-rot guarantee the front elevation has four leaf bi-fold doors, enabling it to open fully, providing shelter from sun and showers whilst enjoying the garden. Further light fills the space from the two fixed side windows. All glazing is plastic ensuring protection from broken glass hazards for added peace of mind.

This summerhouse is supplied with a factory base coat. We would suggest that an initial anti-fungal treatment is applied when assembled then annually thereafter to support the guarantee. Alternatively, paint could be applied for a more individual style.

Shire offer a professional installation service via their own team of trained fitters with expert experience in building Shire Log Cabins. Shire will carry out both the delivery and the installation of your log cabin on the same day. Installations occur on weekdays only, typically between 7am and 8pm.

 

Shire will require you to send an image of your prepared base before the installation. The base should be firm, level, and sufficiently sturdy to support the log cabin.

 

The installation team require a 2ft or 600mm clearance around the base for assembly. This will also be practical for you when maintaining the building in the future.

 

Shire do not provide a service for the preparation of the base area or for installation of electrics, wi-fi, solar lighting or plastic bases. If you require assistance with these, we recommend the use of Checkatrade.com for locating a reputable tradesperson in your area. Solar lighting packs are designed to be easy DIY assembly.

 

Please be aware that the log cabin will arrive in a vehicle nearly the size of a standard dustcart. It will require access to the property and to be parked for up to a full day.

This product is delivered in a flat packed, sectional format direct from manufacturer to your home, with full instructions ready for DIY assembly.

The delivery drivers are only insured to deliver to kerb side or driveway. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product to an unsafe location.
