A key component of garden design is the garden arch, which makes a wonderful way to frame a walkway or separate different sections of your outdoor space.

Whether you opt for a traditional wooden garden arch or prefer the more imposing style of metal garden arches, we have something to perfectly complement your own garden's design.

So, why not make the most of your weekend and add instant appeal to your garden with one of our premium-quality garden arches?

Assembling Your Garden Arch

Even if you're a complete novice when it comes to DIY, our garden arches come in a simple kit form that you'll assemble in no time.

Let's take a look at how you can enjoy the benefits of your new garden arch in four easy steps, using the Forest Rose Wooden Garden Arch as our example:

The Forest Rose Wooden Garden Arch 9x6, positioned on grass, flanked on one side by trees and the other side by a bush.

Step 1

Lay the components onto the ground, checking and familiarising yourself with the pieces.

Step 2

Build the roof section by standing the two short sections onto their sides. Nail the mitred ends together, producing a V-shaped section.

Step 3

Still on the floor, position the two uprights into place.

The distance apart should be between 0.91m (3’) and 1.36m (4’6), measured by the distance between the second rails on either side of the V-section.

Nail the V-section to the uprights.

Step 4

Finally, stand the Rose Arch upright and move into position.

Once the desired position has been located, the posts can be fixed directly into the ground, although it is recommended that Forest post support spikes are used to provide a secure footing for the garden arch, holding it upright and stable, even in the most treacherous of weather conditions.
